A Client Testimonial

20 December 2000
Dear Christian,

This letter is long overdue and I apologize for that.  You'd think that when someone has changed your life, you'd want to get right on a letter of thanks but I've been having too much fun being the new “me.”  So, here it finally is and I must stress that ‘thanks' really isn't enough.

In March of this year, I happened by your ad and decided to find out what extensions were all about.  Of course I was concerned about the cost, but information doesn't cost anything.  After speaking with you I felt like I was going to lose a quick 10 lbs painlessly, in other words, something very special was going to happen to me.  And it certainly did.  From the moment I walked out of the salon, I felt like a different person.  You see, after all these years of having fine, thin hair and admiring anyone with ‘good' hair; I was actually one of those people.  All my insecurities about thinning on top or having see-through hair were gone.  However, I wondered how much care I would have to give this new appendage and would it take a lot of time each day, would I have to be too careful of it and have my activities restricted by it?  In a word; no!  The way I have to take care of the extensions is the way everyone should take care of their own hair—brushing with a proper brush, using good products, rinsing it after swimming in chlorine, etc.  Otherwise there is no difference.  I put my hair up, down, change parts, use whatever hair accessories I need, curl it, blow it dry and wash it as normal.

Also, to be able to have long hair in just a few hours is a godsend.  No more of that painful 12-18 month grow out period.  I don't know why I'd ever go without extensions again.  Is it my own hair?  You're damn right it is—I paid for it!

Fondly,
Susan Kostandoff
